In a contract dispute between two real estate companies, Mr. Ackert, a current iDS Expert, was engaged to forensically collect and analyze computers utilized during the contract negotiation phase and testify as to whether the contract document was modified between the final draft and the signed contract.  Based upon evidence and metadata uncovered as part of that analysis, Mr. Ackert confirmed that the document had been altered with specific contract language around the land valuation.  Mr. Ackert's report detailing the findings helped the client settle the matter, revise the land valuation calculations, and recover the litigation costs.
