iDiscovery Solutions (iDS), an award-winning legal technology consulting and expert services firm, announced today that Managing Director Julian Ackert will present “Investigating the Theft of Trade Secrets” for the Virgina Bar Association. The 120-minute CLE from will take place Friday, May 12, at 11:30 a.m. ET at iDS’ Conference Center in Georgetown.
Trade secrets are some of the most valuable corporate assets and with the proliferation of removable USB storage devices, cloud file synchronization solutions, mobile devices, and the Internet of Things, these digital assets are at risk of being stolen or leaked, even by trusted employees. Mr. Ackert will take an in-depth look at the use of computer forensics for investigating the theft of trade secrets.
Mr. Ackert has over 15 years of consulting and project management experience in the technology and litigation industries. He has extensive experience with forensic data collection and analysis, creating and implementing preservation and collection strategies, analyzing complex data systems, and working with large corporations to establish and develop methodologies and best practices for litigation preparedness.
